01The Challenge

The site had been fully compromised. A database-level backdoor was injecting spam pages that redirected visitors and search crawlers to suspicious Chinese-language destinations, creating both security and SEO damage.

02The Solution

I investigated the infection, cleaned the backdoor and injected content, hardened the WordPress environment, optimized the site, improved SEO foundations, and handled the Google Search Console cleanup process so the harmful indexed URLs could be reviewed and removed.

03The Impact

After nearly two weeks of technical cleanup, verification, and search-console remediation, the site was restored to a clean, stable state with stronger security and a healthier SEO foundation.
